Gumball 3000 Comes to Bandera

100 supercars. The Cowboy Capital. One unforgettable day.

On June 8, 2026, Bandera becomes the last stop in the United States for the world's most famous rally. The Gumball 3000 — a 3,000-mile, 7-day run from Miami to Mexico City — rolls through the Cowboy Capital before crossing the border, and the town is throwing a proper Texas welcome.

Expect exotic supercars parked on 11th Street, a Western Parade down Main Street at 2 PM, live music, cattle drives, and the kind of spectacle that doesn't come to a town this size very often. The whole thing is free. No tickets. Just show up.

About Gumball 3000

A 27-year-old rally, in Bandera for the first time

Gumball 3000 has been running since 1999. Every year, roughly 100 cars and their drivers — celebrities, athletes, and international personalities — cover 3,000 miles across a different route. The 2026 rally is the 27th annual edition, running June 5–10 from Miami to Mexico City. Bandera is the final U.S. stop before the convoy crosses into Mexico.

Previous rallies have passed through cities like London, New York, Las Vegas, and Tokyo. This year, Bandera is on that list.

Getting there

Plan your arrival

Bandera is 45 minutes northwest of San Antonio on Highway 16. The event is centered on 11th Street and Main Street in downtown Bandera. The event runs all afternoon, so there's no need to rush for a specific arrival time, but if you want to see the cars arrive and stage, plan to be on 11th Street by 10 AM. The parade down Main Street is at 2 PM sharp.

Coming from San Antonio or further? Make a weekend of it. Backroads Hill Country has properties right in downtown Bandera — closest to all the action — plus cabins and homes near the Medina River, all managed locally.
